Most women with fibroids never experience any symptoms. However those who do suffer from one or more of the following symptoms will most likely need some form of treatment:
  • Heavy menstrual bleeding (Can be associated with low blood count or anemia)
  • Bleeding between periods
  • Increased uterine size
  • Chronic pelvic pain
  • Increase in menstrual cramps
  • Lower back and leg pain
  • Constipation and hemorrhoids
  • Increase in urinary frequency
  • Pain during sexual intercourse
